Ashley is a small town with a big outlook.
We are conveniently located in the northeast corner of Indiana, on the west side of I-69 Exit 140 and within 15 miles South of I-80/90 where you can easily service the tri-state areas well as Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Toledo at the same time as enjoying the relaxed vacation atmosphere of the lake country. Ashley has all the services of the larger metropolitan area but at a lower cost.
We continue to develop our boundaries, infrastructure, and utilities as our town continues to grow. If you are interested in relocation or growing with our town, please contact us. We have plenty of space for your commercial or industrial business to grow with us. Economic development is the process that begins when a community prepares itself to accommodate the retention, startup, location, or expansion of an enterprise. Economic development occurs when a local economy is vitalized by the creation of one or more jobs, an increase in community wealth, or the useful distribution of capital that arrives from outside sources. In this way, Ashley officials have been working with Steuben County Economic Development and Dekalb County Partners to develop new job opportunities by attempting to attract new businesses to the community.
The Ashley/Hudson Chamber of Commerce is a partner in economic development and welcomes all new business to the area. Find out more about the Town of Ashley at our website:
