Steuben County offers its employers and residents a low cost of living and housing, along with excellent educational and healthcare options. With four school districts, Trine University, providing adult and traditional age students education opportunities Ivy Tech Community College, Freedom Academy, Purdue Extension services and the Steuben County Literacy Coalition Steuben County provides a variety of education and training options for its residents.  

Steuben County has services to meet all of your healthcare needs with Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, The Regional Cancer Care Center of Angola, two nursing and rehabilitation facilities, Urgent Care of Cameron Hospital, Physical Therapy services, and excellent physicians in all disciplines of medicine.

The County has outstanding recreational offerings, with over 101 Lakes, camping, watersports, winery, outlet mall, movie theaters.  The lakefront Potawatomi Inn, located inside beautiful Pokagon State Park, offers meeting rooms for up to 500 people. The park is home to two beaches, hiking trails, the state’s only refrigerated toboggan slide and a nature center.
