Tax abatement season begins for common council

ANGOLA — The Angola Common Council approved two new tax abatements during its meeting held Monday.
RR Donnelley, 611 W. Mill St., Angola and Univertical, 203 Weatherhead St., each received approval for five-year abatements for the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
As a result of the proposed project, RR Donnelley estimates an additional nine employees with salaries totaling $304,762 to go with the 169 current employees with salaries that total more than $6 million combined.
