Cameron receives national top-100 ranking

ANGOLA — The Cameron Memorial Community Hospital community received quite a surprise last week when the hospital was named one of the top 100 critical access hospitals in the United States.
News of the ranking came a bit unconventionally — via text message.
The news made it to Angola a bit quicker than it might have otherwise because Dr. Tom Miller, a member of the Cameron board of directors, and his wife, Tammy, happened to be attending the National Rural Health Association’s Rural Health Policy Institute conference last week in Washington, D.C., where the rankings were announced.
