Council approves facade grant, hears from EDC

ANGOLA — The Angola Common Council approved a façade grant for work on the rear of the Angola Quilt Shop, 206 W. Maumee St., during its meeting on Monday.
Steve and Tammy DiPasquale own the shop and are planning to remodel the rear façade of the building which will include removing the boards covering the original windows and installing new as well as a second floor rear façade door and a storefront door on the front façade.
A permit was issued by the Historic Preservation Commission for the work.
